As a Catheterization Laboratory Rad Tech, you will play a crucial role in preparing and assisting with procedures in our state-of-the-art facility. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and patient care, ensuring a sterile environment and collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
- Participates in the orientation of new staff and serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certifications within 6 months of hire.
