Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Assess patient condition and prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and establish protocols for infection control.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, providing guidance and support to ensure successful onboarding.
- Utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by Charge person or manager.
- Foster strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
