Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, preparing and positioning patients for care.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime effectively, stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing delegated tasks.
- Develop strong working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate exceptional patient care.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A degree from an accredited Radiographic or Cardiovascular program.
- One year of experience in a Cath Lab setting, preferably.
- Registration as a Radiographer with ARRT or RCIS certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within six months of hire.
