Job Summary
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will prepare and manage equipment for cardiovascular procedures while providing patient care in a sterile environment. This role also involves serving as a preceptor, maintaining professional relationships with medical staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Identify and assess patient condition; prepare, position, and provide patient care
- Maintain a sterile environment
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students; participate in the orientation of new staff
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS registration
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification; Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred
