Job Summary:
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a vital role in preparing equipment, providing patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment. This position requires collaboration with cardiologists and electrophysiologists, as well as orientation of new staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures
- Identifying and assessing patient condition
- Maintaining a sterile environment
- Serving as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
Requirements include:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
- Registration as a Radiographer with ARRT or RCIS certification
