The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will play a crucial role in preparing equipment and providing patient care in a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures.
This position requires collaboration with a team of cardiologists and involves serving as a mentor for new staff and students. To be successful, candidates must have a relevant radiologic technology degree, certification, and maintain certifications in Basic and Advanced Life Support.
About the Position:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participates in the orientation of new staff.
- Maintains strong professional working relationship with the physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- BLS Certification.
- ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire.
