At Norman Regional Health System, we are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our innovative cardiovascular program. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will play a crucial role in preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
The ideal candidate will have previous procedural area experience and hold relevant certifications such as ARRT or RCIS. They will also be required to complete ACLS training within 6 months of hire and maintain it throughout their employment.
As a member of our team, you will collaborate with a team of cardiologists, serve as a preceptor for new staff, and ensure excellent patient care through strong professional relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participate in the orientation of new staff.
