Our innovative cardiovascular program is seeking a caring and knowledgeable Registered Technologist to expand our services. We will soon be moving to a new state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, which will feature three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
We work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists, who have earned various accreditations, including the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award, Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation, and American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation.
We offer a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience. Job Responsibilities
As a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist, you will prepare equipment before and during procedures. You will identify and assess patient conditions, prepare, position, and provide patient care. You will establish and maintain a sterile environment, serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students. You will also participate in the orientation of new staff, use downtime appropriately, and maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS. Previous procedural area experience is preferred. You should also hold certifications such as Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) training, and ACLS training within 6 months of hire.
