Job Summary
The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. As a key member of the cardiology department, you will be responsible for preparing and operating cardiovascular equipment during procedures, ensuring patient care, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting the cardiology team.
To succeed in this role, you must have a strong foundation in radiologic technology and cardiovascular imaging. A 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification is required. Previous procedural area experience is preferred but not necessary.
We offer competitive compensation, ranging from $27.84 to $45.46 per hour based on previous work experience. Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition.
- Prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Participates in the orientation of new staff.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certifications.
