Norman Regional Health System's Cardiovascular Program
The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. As a key member of our cardiovascular program, you will be responsible for preparing equipment and providing patient care in a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures.
This role requires a combination of technical skills and certifications, including ARRT and RCIS, as well as maintaining strong communication with medical professionals to ensure optimal patient care. The ideal candidate will have a completion of a recognized Radiologic Technology program and experience in a Cath Lab setting is preferred.
We are committed to providing excellent patient care and strive to be at the forefront of innovation in cardiovascular medicine. Our team works closely with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Maintain strong professional working relationship with the physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
