The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is responsible for preparing equipment and providing patient care in the cardiovascular program. This role includes maintaining a sterile environment, assessing patient conditions, and serving as a preceptor for new hires.

- Prepares equipment before and during procedures
- Identifies and assesses patient condition
- Maintains a sterile environment
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Participates in the orientation of new staff
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
