Norman Regional Health System is a pioneering healthcare organization with an exceptional cardiovascular program. We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team and contribute to delivering excellent patient care.
About the Role
- This position involves preparing equipment, collaborating with cardiologists, maintaining a sterile environment, and serving as a preceptor for new staff and students.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing and positioning patients, and establishing a sterile environment.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Preparation of equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing and positioning patients.
- Maintaining a sterile environment and serving as a preceptor for new staff and students.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support Certification and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
