Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Preparing equipment before and during procedures,
Identifying and assessing patient condition,
Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment,
Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students,
Participating in departmental organization and continuous quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:
A graduate degree from an accredited Radiographic or Cardiovascular program,
Current certification in Radiography or Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS),
Basic Life Support training or re-training prior to providing patient care,
Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire,
A commitment to ongoing education and training.
