Cath Lab Technologist for Innovative Cardiovascular Program

At Norman Regional Health System, we have a pressing need for skilled Radiologic Technologists to support our innovative cardiovascular program. This position offers the chance to work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists in a state-of-the-art facility. The ideal candidate will be registered as a Radiographer or RCIS, with experience working in cath labs, and certification in ACLS and BLS.

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will prepare equipment before and during procedures.
• They'll identify and assess patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care.
• They'll maintain a sterile environment, adhering to all protocols.
• They'll serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
• They'll participate in orientation, maintaining open communication with staff.

Qualifications and Education

• A graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
• Registration as a Radiographer with ARRT or RCIS with CV or CI certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support training required; Advanced Life Support within six months of hire.
