About the Role:
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will play a critical role in supporting our cardiovascular program, preparing equipment, identifying and assessing patient condition, and establishing and maintaining a sterile environment. This role also involves precepting new staff and students, participating in the orientation of new staff, and utilizing downtime effectively to maintain equipment and perform delegated tasks.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
A graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program, with one year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred. Registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS is required. Basic Life Support training is also necessary, with Advanced Life Support certification needed within six months of hire.
