The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System is a key member of the cardiovascular team, responsible for preparing and assisting with patient procedures in a sterile environment. Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and setup of equipment for procedures.
- Assessment and management of patient care.
- Establishment and maintenance of a sterile environment.
- Precepting and mentoring new staff members and radiology students.
- Utilization of downtime for essential tasks, as delegated by Charge person or manager.
- Cultivation of strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership for optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
Accredited Radiographic or Cardiovascular Program graduate.
Registered with the ARRT or RCIS credentials.
Basic Life Support certification, with Advanced Life Support achieved within 6 months of hire.
