Job Summary
The Norman Regional Health System seeks a highly skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing equipment, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment.
Candidates should possess experience in cardiovascular technology, BLS certification, and relevant credentials. A 24-month formal program in Radiologic Technology or military program with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility is also required.
The ideal candidate will have previous procedural area experience and be certified in Cardiovascular (CV), Interventional (CI), or Vascular (VI). Basic Life Support (BLS) training is mandatory, and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification must be achieved within six months of hire.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care
- Maintain a sterile environment
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff
- Utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing delegated tasks by Charge person or manager
- Establish strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
