What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catheterization Laboratory Technician Vacancy position at Norman Regional Health System?
This is a critical role in our cardiovascular program, requiring the ability to prepare and assist during procedures while ensuring exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will have completed an accredited Radiologic or Cardiovascular program and hold necessary certifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepares equipment and ensures a sterile environment.
- Collaborates with physicians and medical staff to provide quality care.
- Serves as a mentor and preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
Education and Certifications
A minimum of 24 months formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS certification required. Previous Procedural Area experience preferred. Basic Life Support training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
