Responsibilities of a Catheterization Laboratory Technician
The Catheterization Laboratory Technician prepares equipment before and during procedures, identifies and assesses patient condition, and prepares, positions, and provides patient care. This role also involves establishing and maintaining a sterile environment and participating in the orientation of new staff.
A successful candidate will have strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care. They will also maintain current Basic Life Support certification and achieve Advanced Life Support within six months of hire.
