As a member of our team, you will work closely with our experienced cardiologists and electrophysiologists to provide exceptional patient care. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
Job Summary
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist prepares equipment before and during procedures, identifies and assesses patient condition, and provides patient care in a sterile environment. The successful candidate will serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in staff training, and maintain certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition.
- Prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
