Job Requirements
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist must possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position requires preparation and maintenance of equipment, patient care, and maintenance of a sterile environment.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
- Experience: Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment. ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
