Job Summary
Candidates must have good communication, computer, and time management skills. Be detailed-oriented, a team player, and possess professional etiquette.
You will be responsible for assisting patients, attorneys, or vendors in person or over the phone with their-
payments
billing , insurance, or payment questions
or any issues in regards to their accounts for the hospital or clinics.
Cash handling experience required
Medical experience is encouraged
Knowledge of insurance practices is encourage
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to type at least 45 wpm
Must have a working knowledge of Word and Excel
Qualifications
Computer skills, telephone etiquette, 10 key by touch, ability to maintain and balance cash and deposits
Experience
One year experience of clerical / secretarial experience in a medical setting
Compensation
11.29 / hr - 18.45 / hr
