Your Responsibilities
As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Norman Regional Health System, your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act
- Contributing to the development of a plan of care and following through with such plan for selected patients
- Administering medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy
- Maintaining the exam rooms and work environment
- Documenting nursing care and activities
- Assisting with patient care and monitoring patients during procedures
- Assisting with the training of other staff
- Assisting departmental assistant with clinical matters
