Job Role
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is integral to our cardiovascular team, responsible for preparing patients and equipment for procedures, while maintaining a sterile environment. This role demands close collaboration with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities
- Equipment preparation and setup.
- Patient assessment and management.
- Sterile environment establishment and maintenance.
- Precepting and mentoring new staff and radiology students.
- Effective utilization of downtime for assigned tasks.
- Development of strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership for enhanced patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Radiographic or Cardiovascular Program.
Registration with the ARRT or RCIS credentials.
Basic Life Support certification, with Advanced Life Support achieved within 6 months of hire.
