Diagnostic Imaging Technician Lead

The Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. We have an innovative cardiovascular program and are looking for a caring and knowledgeable Registered Technologist to expand our program.

We will soon be moving to our new state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, featuring three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. Our team collaborates with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare equipment before and during procedures
• Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care
• Maintain a sterile environment
• Participate in the orientation of new staff and serve as a preceptor for radiology students

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
• One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
• Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire

Compensation and Benefits:

• $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience
