The Norman Regional Health System seeks a Registered Clinical Dietitian to provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and ongoing follow-up care to patients within our healthcare system.
This role involves delivering personalized nutrition education to both patients and staff while ensuring compliance with state licensure and continuing education requirements. Ideal candidates have a strong understanding of various nutritional needs across subspecialties such as diabetes, cardiology, and oncology.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial nutrition assessments of patient conditions.
- Provide ongoing reassessment and follow-up care.
- Deliver tailored nutrition education services for patients and staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field.
- Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Oklahoma State Dietitian license.
- Basic knowledge of subspecialty areas including nutrition support, diabetes, cardiology, renal, and oncology.
- Able to use decision-making skills to prioritize patient care.
