Job Description
The Registered Clinical Dietitian provides essential nutritional assessments and ongoing care to patients in an acute care setting. This includes conducting initial nutrition assessments, providing ongoing reassessments and follow-up care, and offering nutrition education services for patients and staff. In addition, you will be responsible for other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Must be registered with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and possess an Oklahoma State Dietitian license within six months of employment.
- Should have approximately 15 hours of continuing education credits per calendar year to stay current on new findings and research.
- Prior clinical experience in an acute care facility is preferred, but not required.
