Job Description
As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System, you will be responsible for preparing equipment, identifying and assessing patient condition, and providing patient care during procedures. You will also establish and maintain a sterile environment, collaborate with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists, and serve as a preceptor for new staff and radiology students.
Requirements:
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support training and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
- Previous procedural area experience preferred
Education:
Graduation from an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program is required. Completion of 24-month formal programs or military programs in Radiologic Technology is also acceptable, provided the individual is eligible and/or current RCIS.
