Job Summary:
- Prepares equipment for procedures and maintains a sterile environment.
- Assesses patient conditions and provides patient care during procedures.
- Collaborates with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participates in the orientation of new staff members and serves as a preceptor for radiology students.
- Maintains professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire.
- One year of experience working in an invasive cardiovascular setting preferred.
