As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Norman Endocrinology Associates, you provide direct patient care, administer medications, and assist with clinical procedures under the oversight of registered nurses and physicians. You are involved in developing and implementing patient care plans, ensuring high standards of safety and accuracy in all medical procedures. Additionally, you support the training of staff and maintain a safe and organized clinical environment to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Perform duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act.
- Contribute to the development of a plan of care and follow through with such plan for selected patients.
- Administer medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy.
- Maintain the exam rooms and work environment.
- Document nursing care and activities.
- Assist with patient care and monitor patients during procedures.
- Assist with the training of other staff.
- Assist departmental assistants with clinical matters.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Experience: Prefer at least 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room, and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care. Experience in office clerical activities is desirable.
- Licensure/Certification: Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required to be maintained for the duration of employment.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Hourly rate: $17.39-$28.40 per hour, depending on previous work experience.
