LPN Position at Norman Endocrinology Associates
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide patient care by administering medications, monitoring patients, and contributing to the development of care plans. You will maintain a safe and organized clinical environment while documenting nursing activities and assisting in training new staff.

Responsibilities:
- Perform duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act.
- Contribute to the development of a plan of care and follow through with such plan for selected patients.
- Administer medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy.
- Maintain the exam rooms and work environment.
- Document nursing care and activities.
- Assist with patient care and monitor patients during procedures.
- Assist with the training of other staff.
- Assist departmental assistant with clinical matters.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Experience: Prefer at least 1-2 year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care. Experience in office clerical activities desirable.
- Licensure/Certification: Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $17.39-$28.40/hr depending on previous work experience.
