The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System is responsible for supporting our innovative cardiovascular program by preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment. This position requires collaboration with cardiologists to ensure the effective execution of cardiac procedures within our state-of-the-art facility.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
