About Norman Regional Health System
We are a 32-bed surgical unit that provides care for patients with both surgical and nonsurgical conditions. Our team of nurses works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and effective patient care.
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse - Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical expertise and support to the unit
- Serving as a department leader in the absence of the manager
- Assisting in cost containment activities
- Responsible for continued department development through orientation and education
- Working with the manager to promote an engaged workforce
Qualifications
Candidates must possess:
- An Associate's degree in Nursing or higher
- At least three years of experience in a surgical unit
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nursing license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
