The Norman Regional Health System is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Nursing Supervisor in our Surgical Unit. This position involves providing clinical expertise and leadership in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care, and promoting department development and staff engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical expertise and support to the unit
- Serve as a department leader in the absence of the manager
- Assist in cost containment activities
- Develop and implement strategies for department development
- Foster an engaged workforce by working with the manager
To be successful in this role, you should have at least three years of experience in a specialty area of assignment and prior supervisory/management experience is preferred. You must hold an Associate's degree in Nursing and a current Oklahoma Registered Nursing license, with Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
