As a Registered Cardiovascular Imaging Scientist (RCIS), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of excellence in healthcare.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team in the Catheterization Laboratory. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
- Assess patient condition and prepare them for procedures.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with advances in cardiovascular medicine.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent experience.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or RCIS certified by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
