Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Preparation: Ensure all necessary equipment is prepared and ready for procedures.
- Patient Care: Assess patient conditions, prepare, position, and provide patient care according to established protocols.
- Environmental Maintenance: Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures, adhering to strict infection control standards.
- Preceptorship: Serve as a mentor and guide for new hires and radiology students, contributing to their growth and development within our team.
- Downtime Utilization: Effectively utilize downtime to perform essential tasks such as stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated duties.
- Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with physicians, leaders, and other medical staff to ensure seamless communication and effective patient care.
Requirements:
- Accredited Radiologic or Cardiovascular program degree.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
