Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and maintenance of equipment for procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Identification and assessment of patient conditions, providing tailored care and support.
- Maintenance of a sterile environment during procedures to prevent complications.
- Participation in the preceptorship program for new hires and radiology students, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Effective use of downtime through task completion and equipment checks, as delegated by the Charge person or manager.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology, eligible for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration and/or current RCIS certification.
- Experience in procedural areas is preferred but not essential.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS registration.
- BLS and ACLS certifications must be obtained within six months of hire.
