As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System, your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Identifying and assessing patient condition to provide personalized care.
- Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment to prevent infection and promote healing.
- Providing patient care and support throughout the procedure.
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students to facilitate knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Maintaining strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to foster collaboration and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
