We are seeking a highly skilled CV Rad Technologist to join our team at the Norman Regional Health System. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, this individual will play a critical role in providing patient care during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring the highest level of precision and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of equipment and materials for procedures, including calibration and maintenance of equipment.
- Assessment and preparation of patients for procedures, including positioning and preparation for imaging.
- Establishment and maintenance of sterile environments to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
- Support and mentorship of new hires and radiology students through preceptorship and orientation programs.
- Effective use of downtime to perform tasks such as stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated duties assigned by Charge person or manager.
- Maintenance of strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab environment preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
