Radiologic Imaging Specialist - Cardiac Catheterization

As a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will play a vital role in our innovative cardiovascular program, working closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

About the Role:

The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will be responsible for preparing equipment, identifying and assessing patient condition, and maintaining a sterile environment. The successful candidate will also participate in preceptorship for new hires and radiology students and develop strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
• Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
• Maintain a sterile environment.
• Participate in preceptorship for new hires and radiology students.
• Utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
• Develop strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
• One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
• Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registered and/or RCIS from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire.
