About the Role:
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will be responsible for preparing equipment, identifying and assessing patient condition, and maintaining a sterile environment. The successful candidate will also participate in preceptorship for new hires and radiology students and develop strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Participate in preceptorship for new hires and radiology students.
- Utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
- Develop strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registered and/or RCIS from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire.
