Norman Regional Health System is committed to providing high-quality patient care through its innovative cardiovascular program. We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team of medical professionals.
This position plays a vital role in preparing and maintaining equipment during cardiovascular procedures, while also ensuring seamless collaboration with cardiologists and radiologic technologists. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and positioning equipment for procedures
- Assessing patient condition and providing necessary care
- Maintaining a sterile environment during procedures
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Participating in orientation of new staff members
- Using downtime effectively by stocking rooms and checking equipment
- Developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership
Key qualifications include:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting preferred
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
