Job Description:
This role involves preparing and operating equipment during cardiovascular procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing exceptional patient care. Collaboration with physicians and supporting new staff training are essential aspects of this position.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate equipment during cardiovascular procedures.
- Ensure a sterile environment and provide patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians and support new staff training.
- Participate in the orientation of new staff and serve as a preceptor for radiology students.
- Use downtime effectively by completing delegated tasks and maintaining equipment.
- Maintain a strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
- Registered Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS registration.
- BLS certification and ACLS within 6 months of hire.
