Responsibilities Include:
- Preparation and setup of equipment for procedures
- Identification and assessment of patient conditions
- Establishment and maintenance of a sterile environment
- Professional practice, including preceptoring and mentoring
- Effective utilization of downtime, completing tasks assigned by Charge person or manager
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
- Basic Life Support training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
- Current Basic Life Support certification required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment
