Job Description

The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a vital role in our cardiovascular program, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care in a sterile environment. This position requires a strong foundation in radiologic technology or cardiovascular programs, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and operate equipment during cardiovascular procedures
2. Collaborate with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to ensure seamless care delivery
3. Train new staff and participate in the orientation of new employees
4. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict sterile protocols
5. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry advancements

Requirements

• Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS
• Previous procedural area experience preferred
• American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered and/or RCIS, Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
