Responsibilities of this role include preparing equipment for procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, establishing and maintaining a sterile environment, and serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students. To succeed in this position, candidates must possess a strong foundation in radiologic technology, including completion of a 24-month formal program or military program. Registration with the ARRT and/or RCIS certification is also required.
