Cath Lab Rad Tech Specialist Opportunity
Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled CATH LAB RAD TECH SPECIALIST to join our team. As a key member of our Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for preparing equipment and patient care during cardiovascular procedures. This role requires maintaining a sterile environment and working collaboratively with cardiologists and other healthcare staff while serving as a preceptor for new hires. Candidates must hold relevant certifications and complete specialized training within six months of employment.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to prepare equipment and ensure a safe environment for patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.
- Assess patient conditions and develop effective strategies to provide optimal care, incorporating evidence-based practices and best available research.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and techniques.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, promoting ongoing learning and skill development.
- Foster open communication with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices and best available research.

Requirements
A graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program is required. Previous Procedural Area experience is preferred. Registration from the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS is essential. Basic Life Support certification is required, with Advanced Life Support certification needed within six months of hire.
