Qualifications and Education
To be successful in this role, candidates must be certified as a Radiologic Technologist with a focus on cardiovascular care. A graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program is preferred, along with one year of experience working in a Cath Lab. Registration from the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS is also required.
