What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician position at Norman Vision Clinic?
Optometric technician/scribe assists the doctor. Applicant conducts preliminary testing of vision for our patients, takes medical information and documents in the electronic health record. Must be computer savvy and able to type quickly and accurately. Must be friendly and personable as well as professional. This job requires the ability to be on your feet for most of 8 hours and is a high energy position. Candidate must be detail oriented and able to multi-task. Need someone who works well as a team player and enjoys working with others who enjoy their work and loves patient care! Full-time employee will receive the upper range of pay and be trained as a technician and scribe.
