We are looking for an exceptional culinary chef to lead our kitchen operations, managing food preparation, recipe execution, and high-end on site event production for select locations. This role is a unique blend of approximately 75% commercial kitchen management and 25% on-site fine dining execution, providing the opportunity to work with luxury ingredients, curate restaurant-quality meals, and oversee private dining experiences across Southern California.

Responsibilities
Menu Planning & Recipe Execution
✔ Execute meticulously developed menus and established brand recipes for weekly private clients and high-end dinner parties.
✔ Maintain consistency in recipe execution, plating, and presentation to meet NORR Kitchen’s five-star standards.
✔ Ensure seasonal sourcing and high-quality ingredients in all preparations.
Food Preparation & Kitchen Operations
✔ Manage food preparation at our Costa Mesa commercial kitchen, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and quality.
✔ Oversee inventory management, ordering, and stock control to maintain smooth kitchen operations and budget parameters.
✔ Maintain food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Event Execution & Private Dining
✔ Travel on-site for high-end private dining events for select locations, overseeing meal execution and service.
✔ Work closely with NORR Kitchen’s expertly trained event managers, who handle seamless pick-ups and front-of-house service.
✔ Support the expansion of NORR Kitchen’s culinary operations, ensuring flawless execution for luxury clientele our teams travel to across Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, San Diego, and beyond.
Leadership & Growth
As we scale, with trust and performance, this role has the ability to evolve into a leadership position, with the opportunity to hire and manage additional kitchen staff.
