Position Title:  IT Systems Designer

Position Summary: 

The primary purpose of this position is to manage and develop the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) CRM platform for Sales and Service at Nortek Air Solutions. The CRM Admin and Developer will be responsible for customizing and configuring the CRM system to meet the needs of the business, as well as providing ongoing support to users. This role works closely with various departments to gather requirements and ensure that the CRM system is effectively integrated with other business systems.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Customize and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM for Sales and Service using entities, relationships, forms, JavaScript, views, workflows, plugins, business rules and visualizations.
  • Develop and implement workflows, plugins, and integrations with other business systems.
  • Develop, extend, and support Power Portal solutions for Sales and Service teams.
  • Lead teams of Dynamics Consultants and Developers. Prioritizing incidents and requests, routing accordingly.
  • Partner with the Marketing Team and external consultants to assist in support of Dynamics Customer Insights, Real Time Journeys, and Customer Voice.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather and document requirements for CRM customizations and enhancements.
  • Work with segment leaders to Extend and Deploy Dynamics Sales and Customer Service module across multiple segments and plants.
  • Deploy, extend and support Deal Desk approvals triggered from Dynamics CE
  • Participate in an Agile team building a new Sales collaboration solution running on the Azure/Microsoft stack and SDK-based integrations to Dataverse customer tables.
  • Develop and Support Dataverse based Power BI Datasets and Dataflows
  • Rationalize Sales and Customer source data from CSI Syteline, Dynamics ERP, and custom quoting systems, centralizing and surfacing in Dynamics CRM.
  • Support and Extend custom SOAP services with C#, Dynamics CRM SDK, and .NET to enable customer quoting via external quoting systems.
  • Conduct light business analysis and project management for Dynamics CRM Development.
  • Provide ongoing support and training for CRM users to ensure effective use of the system.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the CRM system, including performance, data integrity, and integration issues.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency within the CRM system.
  • Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  • Develop reporting and dashboards to provide insights to various stakeholders.
  • Participate in project planning and execution for CRM-related initiatives.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of CRM configurations and customizations.
  • Work closely with external vendors and consultants as needed.
  • Support "Lean Business Enterprise" initiatives for continuous process improvement and waste elimination.
  • Work with M365 Admins to oversee and manage Dynamics CE licensing, ensuring compliance and optimal usage.
  • Create and manage user accounts and teams within Dynamics CE, ensuring proper configuration and access.
  • Customize and maintain security roles to ensure appropriate access levels and data protection.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Dynamics CE users, resolving issues promptly.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and documentation for end-users and administrators.
  • Assist Data Architect with CRM data integrations for use in PowerBI.
  • Assist in data analysis, modeling, and development using Power BI Desktop, Semantic Models, Dataflows, Excel Formulas, and Pivot tables.
  • Other Ad hoc duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, with a focus on Sales and Service modules.
  • Proficiency in customizing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Experience with CRM development tools, including C#, .NET, JavaScript, Power Platform, and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of CRM best practices and methodologies.
  • Ability to integrate CRM with other business systems using APIs or middleware.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
  • Understanding of data privacy and security regulations.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Dynamics 365 Fundamentals, Dynamics 365 Sales Functional Consultant, etc.) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in Dynamics CE development and support.
  • Experience with Dynamics CE Sales, Service and Customer Insights. 
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Web Apps, and Power Automate/Logic Apps.
  • Experience with Power BI, including data analysis, modeling, and development.
  • Proficiency in C#, Dynamics SDK, and .NET.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
